The sponsor does not want a shirt that will reflect badly on his or her business or one that will not properly showcase their product or service. Since many sponsors do this as a gesture of community goodwill instead of any real advertising, they will probably be fine with whatever your vision is. But it is always good to ask.
Many different styles, colors and patterns can be used to make bowling shirts. The choices are up to you and your teammates. You could go with a classic look with collar and button down front, or a more casual look with a tee shirt design. Colors can be as conservative or as wild as you would like. Traditional blues and blacks or bright neon or pastels are all on the pallet for you to mix and match. Be as creative as you want with your vision.
