Radio frequency identification technology is a form of communication technology which is used by organizations as an identification tool. RFID technology has overcome the limitation of bar code readers which require direct contact with an object for providing information. This technology also offers greater flexibility and ease of use as it can store as well as read data and the data can be easily updated.
