San Francisco California is an exciting place to visit. Just thinking of the things to do in San Francisco brings back fond memories of my childhood days. I have traveled back to San Francisco since then and was able to experience all those things I remember best.
Speaking of what I remember of the things to do in San Francisco, the best travel attractions you will want to see and do would include art and other museums, the Golden Gate bridge, China Town, take in a tour of Alcatraz, the bay area and Fisherman's Wharf. Also, don't forget to ride the cable cars in city center of San Francisco.
I grew up in California and I love to travel back there. I love the sea air and the bay area is beautiful and full of things to do in San Francisco. I can see it now, just walking down the wharf to see all the places to eat, the tours available and the best free entertainment. You may even see the sea lions basking in the sunshine as you travel down the wharf.
Did you know that there is a cartoon art museum? It is full of fun things to see and educational as well. There are tours available and the best times to go is any day but Monday. There are other museums that give tours and have attractions like fine art museums, Asian art museums, science museums and much more. These museums also have events that are free to the public which would be some of the great things to do in San Francisco.
One of the things I remember seeing in San Francisco is the Golden Gate Bridge. It is so massive and beautiful. There is even the Golden Gate Park where you can relax and enjoy your bay area experience. My things to do in San Francisco would always include seeing the Golden Gate Bridge.
You won't want to miss the tours to Alcatraz and see where the most famous criminals were kept. There are tours that travel out to the island where you can see how they lived as one of your things to do in San Francisco. You won't need map directions to get to the island since the tours will take you there from the wharf.
If you like lights, bright colors, the hustle bustle of San Francisco, you will want to see China Town. No matter what time of day or night you tour this area, there will be events to remember. I remember getting a small doll from my dad that I have cherished which makes me always want to put this city center amongst my things to do in San Francisco.
There are so many attractions to see and tour in San Francisco California, that you will want to be sure to stay close in the Bay Area in one of the 242 Hotels that are in San Francisco that have great reviews.
