Nowadays, the movie industry had influence the minds and interests of every people of any age. From children, teenagers, adults and our elders are fascinated in watching different types of movies. I bet you have your own favorite movie show. Whatever it is, I’m sure a lot of people have a lot of different taste in watching movies also. Some would prefer drama or romantic movies; others would go on to comedy, scary movies or even action movies.

Movies had influenced us all for so many years. It had captured our interest and also, it made us all be entertained with the twist and thrill that each movie brings. However, there are also some people who are fun of creating movie reviews on their own whether they like the movie or not. It’s a matter of evaluation about the movie, criticism or any analysis that a person who watches the movie would like to comment.

Do you need to have movie industry credentials in order to be qualified to write a film review? I don’t think so. Anyone who pays for the experience of watching a movie, in my mind, has the right to express their opinion. Whether other people should listen to your thoughts, however, is another matter entirely. Anyone can write movie reviews whether they have the experience or not. It’s a matter of sharing your own views or concept about the film you had previously watched and how had reacted on it.

If you want to do your film reviews right, the best thing to do is to employ standard strategies for evaluating movies. You have to observe some basic rules or reminders that can help you to make a better movie review of your own. By paying some attention of the following concerns, I’m sure you are pretty much on the go to create movie reviews. More than putting out a tightly written, well tuned piece (thanks to a grammar assistant software), you will probably want to cover these basic concerns:

Story line. How good is it? Does it bear any social relevance? How does it relate to the original source material? Is it true to life? You have to watch out for it on how you are going to critic with the movie you watched and this is the basic concept that other people would like to listen or read.

Influence. Did the film change the way you look at things? How does it affect your opinion on various matters? Movies can be fictional or not and most of the time, it will influence their viewer’s minds greatly upon watching the film.

Acting. How did the film’s main actors perform?

Direction. What’s your opinion about how the film was directed?

Technical aspects. How do you feel about the consistency and quality of work of the technical staff (e.g. special effects, film editing)?

Conventions. How does the film measure up to other films in terms of convention, such as the use of symbols and colors?

Characters. Are the players in the story consistent throughout the duration? Are they identifiable?
