Yes, that's right - last night, I, Mr. Dating Guy, successfully managed to initiate a conversation with a girl I'd never met before and acquire her phone number. Last night I went to the identical bookstore I was at a number of weeks ago, where I had found a diamond earring, whereas making an attempt to choose up a number of women. Turns out nobody claimed them and the shop manager called me to say I might come and decide the earring up.
I took the subway to the bookstore however wasn't feeling notably social. I don't recognize why, since I had simply made a move on a feminine friend of mine a few days ago and my last choose up try went terribly well. For some reason, I simply wasn't into talking with strangers on the subway. There were a couple of ladies I may've positively started talking to but I chickened out and just sat silent and observed everyone else around me on the method to the bookstore.
When I got to the bookstore, I picked up the earring and headed upstairs to flick through books and see if I could begin talking to someone. There were a heap of folks in the shop - many more than the last time I was there. I just wasn't feeling that confident and I couldn't shake the sensation. I saw a number of girls that I might've approached but I chickened out. I decided to console myself by simply looking for some books to scan for myself and forgetting concerning picking anybody up in the meanwhile.
I headed to the philosophy section and start browsing. A couple of minutes pass and I suddenly notice there's a lady who's browsing extremely shut to me. I perk up and wonder if I ought to start to mention anything. However I don't, which just causes me to feel worse and I decide to go back to my book browsing.
Then I move to the history section and begin wanting through a World War a pair of book. I'm a big fan of history, particularly twentieth century, thus this was one thing I really enjoyed. I must have stood there for a smart ten minutes simply surfing the book and consoling myself that I didn't have to pick anyone up tonight. Once all, perhaps I deserved a chance. Perhaps alternative folks wouldn't take into account this traditional, to consistently move to public places to attempt and decide up ladies.
