Before we move further, let's figure out what a Network Marketing Blog real is..
Well, it is a specific designed blog that is targeting the Network Marketing Industry, of cause.. But because it is laser targeted towards this industry, it has to contain some specific mechanics and principles. These basic ideas originates from what is called Attraction Marketing. Attraction Marketing basically means that you attract people to your website where they get exposed to your products and services, instead of you having to pitch your friends and family on your opportunity. So to set the record straight, the "old school" method where you pitch people on your opportunity is a "push marketing" form and using Attraction Marketing is a "pull marketing" form.
The Principles to a Network Marketing Blog:
1. Exposure: As Gary Vaynerchuk says in his book "Crush it!" "where the eyeballs go, opportunity follows." To get an unlimited amount of leads, you want to expose your blog to as many people as possible. The key word here is "Traffic Generation". Lets assume that you've got a shop on the outskirts of your city and not that many people know that it actually exists because it's not a very populated place. So what you wanna do to get your business going, is start advertising and let people know about your shop which will result in you getting some leads aka potential costumers for what ever you are selling. So getting traffic to your blog is the first priority.
2. Providing Value: This is one of the key concepts within Attraction Marketing and what it essential means is that, in order for you become a leader and attract the kind of people you want in your business - you have to give them FREE value based on what you know.. And by buying books, listen to audios and attend seminars you learn the ins and outs of the industry and instantly you become valuable. So how does this relate to a Network Marketing Blog? Writing rich content articles that helps the kind of people you are targeting for. Handing out useful courses for free from your team. Basically something valuable for your visitors.
3. Lead Conversion: This step is the reason why we take the time to do a Network Marketing Blog in the first place. The reason we want to generate leads is because they are the direct source of the cashflow. How to convert visitors into leads, depends on how valuable you are in your prospects eyes. If they think that you have the expertise that they need to become successful. It will typically come across as an opt-in form where people can give their name and email in exchange for some course or training you give them with no money exchanged. The information on the person opted-in will be tranferred to the autoresponder which starts to spit out emails to the newly aquired lead.
4. Sales Conversion: This step has nothing to do with an actual blog, but I thought it might be interesting, as it is where the money switch hands.. And the emails from the autoresponder will contain valuable products that the lead gets a chance to buy. These products doesn't have to be your own, but could be others that you earn affiliate commissions from. This is typically a cheap 20-40 dollar product. But, in order for you to make the sale, you most have a sales capture page which is normally provided by the creator of the product.
Stay Consistent: As a last basic principle, this is so important to your success than almost any other thing in the world. Starting something new isn't that defficult, but the real struggle is keep persisting when there seems to be no light at the end of the tunnel. And this is really where successful excel and the unsuccessful give up. So make up your mind of how much time you want to invest in this and then keep at it. Take the time to do this thoroughly because in the end you will be able to live your dream life.
