San Francisco hold all kinds of feelings everything from the wild to romantic. I have been to San Francisco once. I am glad to tell you about things to do San Francisco.
I was married in San Francisco, California and spent some honeymoon days there. I have always thought of San Francisco as a romantic getaway. You know..."I left my heart in San Francisco". The Bay area is beautiful. There are plenty of people and places to get married there. We got married in a hotel. We kinda eloped and left all the kids at home, it was just the two of us. While I loved that part, the restaurants are something to be desired. The reviews are always great, but we had the hardest time to finding a really good restaurant. Which surprised me, I expected the best restaurants there.
One day, we went and rented some bikes and went for a scenic ride. First, we rode over the Golden Gate bridge. It was awesome. It was also scarry. There is not a very large bike lane, also it is lower so the edge is right there. You can feel the wind moving the bridge. Then we rode to salsiledos, which is a ethnic area. It seems italian.
The zoo is a fun place to visit. They have all kinds of animals. The wide variety of animals attractions is refreshing. It is a place of family fun. It was a place that kids would love.
One night we went on a dinner cruise around the San Francisco Bay. It was fun and romantic. The crew was nice and friendly. The food was excellenct. Although, I should have had the lamb, my husband had lamb and it was delicious. The chicken was dry. They had dancing and music. But the view of the Bay area was great.
One of the greatest things to do San Francisco was the street watching. People had booths everywhere, and each one was unique and different. Some booths had food, some had homemade items, some had art. We even bought a really neat painting of the golden gate bridge that was done with a spray paint. It was amazing, he make it while we watched.
There was also street performers. These guys were amazing. Some of them were dressed all in silver, everywhere even their faces were silve. And then they posed like statues. We watched them for 20 minutes and they did not move. I could not even tell they were breathing. We have pictures of them. One of the funniest pictures we have is a man sitting on a bench. He has a hot pink wig on and a bikini top with orange bellbottom pants, and he was huge. We loved to sit on the corner of a busy street and just people watch.
One of the most surprising things about San Francisco was the weather. We went in August, I was cold the entire time. I had packed summer clothes. I had to buy a few sweaters. For some reason I thought, we were going to California so I thought it would be warm, but I was wrong.
Overall, San Francisco is an interesting and fun place to visit. Of all the things to do San Francisco, getting married was the best one.
