There is a large amountof money to be made online and learning internet marketing is certainly a valuable skill. Now, what strategy works best has been a topic of debate for years.
I am going to give you my opinion.I have a distinct feeling some of you may like my answer, while some of you may hate it. Bottom line: this is one of the most fundamental facts about succeeding online that I've discovered - so much so that I believe every marketer must embrace it at some point.

I'll make this as direct as possible.
Finding the best internet marketing strategy is all about you. Whatever you can commit to doing on a consistent basis that you are seeing results from is the way to go.
I can almost hear the people that didn't like that answer clicking the "back" button on their browser, but there you have it.
Here's what I've learned about internet marketing. It's almost like dieting. Every few months, there's a new best strategy or killer marketing technique.
Now, not all new strategies are bad - in fact it's a good idea to keep your eyes open and adapt to changes in the industry - but don't spend all your time chasing the newest tricks. Focus your efforts and get some results before moving on to master something new.
Constantly jumping from one strategy to another is a lot like constantly trying new weight loss methods. Don't eat one thing for a week, then focus on getting plenty of something else the week after that, and on and on it goes.
Your body would be totally confused and you wouldn't really be making any long term changes. You may lose a pound or two here or there, but you wouldn't be able to keep bouncing around like this from diet to diet.
What you would need to do would be to implement day to day lifestyle changes. Things that you could do consistently, long term in order to see any real substantial results.
Internet marketing is no different. You can't decide this week you like PPC, and then when you don't get the results you desire, jump into article marketing. Then, you decide that isn't working and you jump into social media marketing.
You may see a little bit in the way of results, but you will see huge results if you take consistent, massive action. This is why there is no magic strategy out there that works for everyone.
Just like we all have different dietary needs and desires, we all have varying comfort levels and passions for different marketing strategies.
The vital thing is that you find the one that works for you and master it. Your marketing results will only be as consistent as your efforts.
Depending on the strategy, it may take some time, but don't give up. Sadly, most people give up right before they could have been successful. Don't let that be you!
