Wanting to make money online at home is something that many people are now striving to do. Ever since the economy got pummelled and the unemployment figures saw a huge spike, thousands and thousands of people all over the world were left with no job. Some lost their valued items, some lost their houses and some even lost their businesses. However despite this, most people actually do not make a single penny or dollar online. Here are 5 reasons why.
1) The first reason why most people do not make money online at home is because they fail to overcome their failures. If you want to use the Internet to join a business and make money, the journey to success is not an easy one. You will encounter many problems, obstacles, roadblocks or whatever else you want to call it. Basically you WILL fail at times which means you will NOT get any results. The problem is though once experiencing this, people hang it up and quit and then end up calling the whole thing a scam. In this industry you have to fail to succeed and many people do not realise that.
2) Another reason why the majority of people do not make money online at home is because of the level of competition. There are literally thousands and thousands of people out there just like you and me all wanting to get a piece of the pie and succeed. Well guess what? If you want to succeed and stand out against the rest, you need to be committed and consistent in your efforts. Not being consistent in your actions will definitely bring you failure. A failure that can NEVER be turned into success.
3) The third reason why 97% of marketers do not make money online at home is because they are not following the right people. For example are you more likely to listen to somebody that tells you how you can make a million in one month, or would you listen to somebody who tells you how to come up with a marketing plan and make a million over the next 5 years? I do not know about you, but for me that is common sense and pretty much a one sided answer. You need to follow the right people and learn from them. Ask questions if you need to and put what you learn into action.
4) Not connecting is another reason why many people do not make money online at home. Building relationships and connecting with your leads as well as other marketers is crucial in the online marketing industry. It does not matter what part of the industry you are in. Whether it is Internet marketing, network marketing, MLM or anything else you want to call it, you have to connect and build relationships otherwise you will be like a person stuck in the deep end of a swimming pool who cannot swim.
5) The final reason for not being able to make money online at home is related to tracking and testing. Tracking and testing your campaigns, lead capture pages, articles, traffic sources etc is crucial because it shows you what is working and what isn't as time goes on. Obviously if something is working well and is bringing in results you would continue doing it. But you would not continue doing something for 6 months if it did not produce a single result for you. Too many people do things but do not bother checking how it is working out. All I can say for this is test test and test.
