Having an Internet business plan is for suckers only and I ain't no sucker! The truth is I really don't need a plan because I already know what I am going to do in order to build my business on the Internet. Before I say anything else they are not my views on the idea of planning and organization, but are the views of other people. When it comes to online marketing and turning to an online business regardless of what niche it is in or what the product range is, you need some sort of Internet business plan in place and here is why.
Why you need an Internet business plan
If you already have one of these and you know what your daily activities are, note I said daily not weekly or monthly, then that is great because you my friend are on the right track. The track to success and the track to freedom whatever that word specifically means to you. Having an Internet business plan is the smart thing to do if you are serious about getting long term results and succeeding for many years to come. By having a plan in place, you will know exactly what you need to do and when to do it.
For example one thing part of my Internet business plan is to write an article everyday and publish it on to my blog. Another thing that I aim to do on a daily basis is also submit that article to a number of article directories all over the internet in order to get some backlinks and a better ranking in the search engines. Doing this along with a few other daily activities has helped me in getting more hits, more traffic and more leads than what I used to get say 3-4 months ago. So by having an Internet business plan in place and knowing what needs to be done, you will be making it a lot easier for yourself and you will also begin to start seeing the results.
What if I don't have an Internet business plan?
If you do not have one of these then all hope is not lost because you can begin to create one as soon as you have finished reading this. It is better late than never as the famous saying goes. If however you decide not to create an Internet business plan despite knowing it's benefits and uses, then I am guessing you may be high off of something and have no intentions of succeeding either online or offline. It is those people who do not have a plan that end up doing a hundred things all at once and have absolutely nothing to show for it.
Another thing is that it is also these people who end up getting more and more frustrated due to a lack of results and information overload and then end up quitting. By having an Internet business plan in place and organizing your day, you will greatly reduce your levels of frustration and increase your levels of productivity which is what will begin to bring in the results. The less things you focus on by breaking them down throughout the day, the more you will accomplish and the better your results will be. Also in terms of information overload we have all been there, but it is the people who focus on the task at hand and not on the new software that will help you make ten thousand dollars in 2 days that succeed. Forget the new software, tools or anything else that comes out because by the following week there will be something else.
A few things you could include and should include in your Internet business plan are taking action using your chosen advertising method/s on a daily basis, connecting with people via social media or any other platform, building relationships, prospecting and then finally recruiting. You should also do some other things on the side such as learning, testing what works and working on your personal development. These are just as important so make sure you pay attention to them and do them on a regular basis.
By being distracted and constantly looking at new things or chatting to friends on Facebook for half the day, will not benefit you in any way because they are not money making activities and so should not be a part of any plan let alone a business one. If you take the time out to write your Internet business plan and focus on it every day, you will begin to see a difference and consistent results will be coming your way.
