It is a training system. As effective as it is in containing your dog, an invisible dog fence becomes most effective when it is paired with a training program for your dog. Most products come with a manual on how to create a schedule of trainings that will gradually introduce your dog into an idea of allowed spaces. This way there will be appoint where you don’t have to tie him a leash or use other means to keep them at bay.
