When you turn out on the golf course and commence your practice tee. You play your best in the round, however when it comes to the final round you will be no longer a good golfer. This happens because at the final round you will lose your mental concentration and much worried about your score.

You are not the one person, who looses your focus at the time of putting, its common with all other top golf players also. But they learnt how to manage themselves on the course and maintain their focus to get a good score.

And most significantly they are more positive and have great confidence. That positive outlook allows them to play at higher level.

Remember one thing without the right mental approach you will never reach your potential.

Rising your mental focus is a doorway to improve your game and accomplish peak performance. If you don't stay concentrated for the entire round then you will not reach your greatest potential.

When you are in the zone to play your round then your mind will throw tantrums because of which you will hit a bad shot or you will miss the hole. That's what we call losing focus "in the moment", which produces lower scores and a lower level of enjoyment playing the game.

The following are the important strategies on how to focus in your game

Concentration your mind: - Most the difficulties while playing golf are due to your primitive mind. Let your mind control your body and helps to overcome all the pressure while playing golf.

Control your anger: - It's common to get angry if you miss the shot. But remember one thing getting angry can make your game worse. Your body can weaken control and it affects your putting. Keep in mind that anger sabotages your mind.

Overcome from your negative thoughts: - Even a slender mental confusion can lead to poor golf. At the time of putting your mind will be throwing tantrums which may be dangerous. The first step is to clearly understand that your negative emotions adversely affect the chemistry of your brain/nervous system and cause your performance to deteriorate. The more objective you become, the greater control you will have over your emotions and performance.

Be Confident on your part:- you must be fully alert when you play your game. Put you 100% when putting. When you hit a bad shot don't get tensed try to give a good shot in the next round.

Trust yourself and your qualities:- It happens with most of us that when we give a bad shot we will thin that we are not capable to play this game and we will never score well. Instead of undervaluing yourself, trust yourself and your ability.
