I can almost hear the people that didn't like that answer clicking the "back" button on their browser, but there you have it.
Personally, I've found that marketing techniques are an awful lot like technology: as soon as you get comfortable with the newest one, something else that sounds even better gets announced.
Now, that doesn't mean I don't think there are some extraordinary options out there, but you can't jump around. You have to work at something long enough to get and the grow some real results, or you'll just keep spinning your wheels.
Constantly jumping from one strategy to another is an awful lot like constantly trying new weight loss methods. Don't eat one thing for a week, then focus on getting a whole lot of something else the week after that, and on and on it goes.
That kind of constant change would leave your body in complete chaos. Maybe you'd see some initial results here and there, but then you're off to the next miracle method and not really going anywhere fast.
Wouldn't it make more sense to implement some real long term changes in your life? These would be things you could do consistently and build some real results with.
It's the same thing with internet marketing. You need to lay a foundation for whatever marketing you are going to do. You can't spend a week posting videos on YouTube, then get bored and throw a thousand dollars into a pay per click campaign only to give up and decide article marketing is a better way to go - all in the course of a month - and expect to get any significant results from any of them.
You may see a little bit in the way of results, but you will see huge results if you take consistent, massive action. In the end, there really isn't any one perfect marketing strategy out there. It all depends on who you are and how you work.
Just like we all have different dietary needs and desires, we all have varying comfort levels and passions for different marketing strategies.
The key thing is that you find the one that works for you and master it. Implement it into your business on a consistent basis and you will see consistent results.
Depending on the strategy, it may take some time, but don't give up. Ironically, most people give up right before they could have been successful. Don't let that be you!
