The ford fusion (Europe) is an extended version of the ford fiesta supermini produced by Ford (Europe) since 2002. It is being sold in Europe and India. This car is considered to be one of the best among the hatchbacks. And hence it is popularly known as” Urban Activity Vehicle” (UAV) by Ford. Its design is a combination of estates as well as multi purpose vehicles. It has an extra height when compared to Fiesta because of its roof racks and increase in ground clearance. Its taller roof makes it roomier and more comfortable for drivers who are tall than usual. It is difficult to define this car for a particular sector. This is an unconventional car. It is of three classes: Mini SUV, Mini MPV and crossover. It is of a length 158.3 inch with a width of 68 inches. An improved version of it was introduced in the year 2005. It’s a turbo diesel engine with a horse power of 68ps and with a torque of 160Nm. The car has flexible interiors with more space and has a tough body. A three point seat belt provision makes the passenger more secure.
Keeping in mind the hot and humid climate in India Ford has designed it with an air conditioning system. The exterior style is unique and extremely different and distinguished from others. The other features of this car include power mirrors, remote central locking, height alteration of seat belt and spacious luggage compartment. It also contains an aerial adapter.
The price of an exterior kit for this car rates from 110 to 120 $. The color of the exterior varies from real light to real dark. In the case of single DIN the fascia adapters allows one to install a car radio of their choice that can be done without altering the exterior of the car. In the case of Double DIN also this can be done. The radio apertures are converted by fascia to fit in perfectly.
