I have just moved more north from the southern part of Utah valley and I'm looking for a dentist like the one I enjoyed where I lived before. Who knows, maybe I'll stay with the dentist I have, but one thing I look for in a dentist office is the location. I like to have the dentist trip be a quick and convenient trip.

So what type of dentist support and oral care am I looking for? Of course I want a dentist who has completed dental school and has that license up on the wall for me to know that, ya this dentist has the dental school training they need to practice dental care, on my teeth. I have a little family now and want to have a dentist who has some pediatric dentistry dental school training. My children are young now and I want their dentist visits and dental care experiences to be positive ones. Pediatric dentistry dental school training really makes a difference in how a dentist performs dental care on children. A dentist with pediatric dentistry training seems to know how to get on the child's level to talk to them about what dental care is and why dental health is important, without losing their attention.

I'm looking for a general dentist office too, I don't really need all the prosthodontic, endodontics, periodontics, medicine services, and cancer services that some dentist offices provide. However, if any of these care services exist at a dentist office I choose, that doesn't bother me either. It just means my dentist and his assistants have more dental school training and experience which is better for my dental care.

I've been to the typical dentist office that's inexpensive and only does the bare-minimum. I didn't stay with that dentist office, of course. I've also been to the dentist office that has all the extra dental care services and the most incredible customer service because their dentist assistants have regular training meetings for the optimal dental care support and care. I've also been to the dentist offices that are in between these two dental care experiences, and I like those too. I like the dentist who is friendly and conversational, but still professional, just not cold and arrogant. Actually, I haven't been to a dentist who seemed arrogant, just doctors and health services that were a little detached from what their clients were experiencing. Hopefully I won't find a dentist like that.

Dentist in South Jordan is the area I'm mostly looking at for a new dentist. I want a clean dentist office that has a nice receiving area. One dentist office I had, you had to walk through another health services office to get to the dental care area, rather than having their own receiving area. And there wasn't a secretary or anything, just the dentist assistants who would come check the dental services room every so often. I think having a professional receiving area is important to the dental care experience.
