What I like about the company is it does not advertise a fad diet. Plexus Slim does not recommend changing your eating habits for 3 months, 6 months, a year. They encourage a change in lifestyle! And we are not just talking about losing weight. We are talking about lowering Glucose levels in Type 2 Diabetic patients, lowering Total Cholesterol, Triglycerides, HDL and LDL Cholesterol, and other benefits that come with losing weight.
Plexus Slim Review - Products
The two main products of the company is Plexus Slim and the Plexus Slim Accelerator.
Plexus Slim is an all natural product that comes in a powder. The product is meant to be mixed with one glass of water and taken 15-30 minutes before a meal. Does not matter if that meal is breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Just to be taken once per day. Very straightforward, very easy!
When used as part of a daily hydration regimen (1 stick pack per day), Plexus Slim promotes:
Loss of weight and inches by burning fat, not muscle
Healthy blood sugar levels
Healthy cholesterol and lipid levels
Healthy will power over food choices
Free radical scavenging (reduces oxidative stress)
Plexus Slim Accelerator is taken in addition to Plexus Slim and meant to be taken at the same time. When using the Accelerator though, it is better to be taken in the morning before breakfast to get the added effects from the product. It is meant to complement and speed up the process of your weight loss.
Plexus Slim works on the hypothalamus. This is the part of the brain that regulates certain metabolic processes. Its basic function, among others, is to control hunger and thirst. When food is consumed, the body starts sending signals to the brain that it is full. In Plexus Slim, scientists isolated an active ingredient they call P57 which sends this signal to the brain so the body will not have the desire to consume the same abundant quantities of food.
Plexus Slim Review - Compensation Plan
The compensation plan is lucrative for the industry. Basically, trying to put some bonuses and bigger commissions earned on the front end to get you to break even as fast as possible. We all know that is theinitial goal with any new company. Get to break even with the purchases to start up the business and monthly auto purchase program.
Tostart, an affiliate needs to purchase a Business Builders package. That can range from $99 to $199 for the annual website fee and a supply of some of the products you will be selling. (A must if you are serious about any business. How are you supposed to advertise something you haven't bought or even tried!) There is also an AutoQualification (monthly purchase program) and annual website subscription renewal fee. (Included in the Business Builders package)
To obtain commissions you need to become an Ambassador. (Plexus Slim's term for an affiliate) That consists of purchasing the Business Builders package (includes the $34.95 annual website membership fee) and agreeing to receive AutoQualification (have products autoshipped to you monthly).
Once you are qualified, you can receive commissions on Retail Customers (people who purchase one time), Preferred Customers (people who set up autoship to purchase products monthly), and other Ambassadors (people who are looking to turn this opportunity into a business like yourself).
You can receive as much as 25% on retail customers, a little less for preferred customers because they also receive a discount, and most people will literally get all their income from recruiting other Ambassadors into the company.
There are some fast start and one time achievement bonuses that you will receive when starting out as you go up through the ranks, but most of your income will be from the Profit Sharing.
You will receive Plexus Points for the sales volume of your group, and as you move up the ranks, can derive these points up to 7 levels deep.
50% of the sales volume is put into the Plexus Profit Sharing and is paid out at the end of each month based on the Plexus Points you have collected during that month.
Plexus Slim Review - System
The system follows that of many other nutritional companies and, for that matter, many other mlm companies. The system is one that is tested and does work, for some of the affiliates, but has a few holes.
Plexus Slim has a solid foundation that no affiliate should have to worry that the company will not be there tomorrow or that their checks will not be paid on time. That is not an issue. The company has done its investigation and has put together a solid product with price points that work well with most anyone trying to get involved in Plexus Slim or any other mlm company.
The dilemma is the old system model is outdated. My first mlm company that I ever started with was also a nutritional product company. I have nothing bad to say about the company or its products. I took the products myself and saw the effects and that is why I got involved. But I joined the company 14 years ago. Plexus Slim is still using the same system for its affiliates to market the company's products.
The problem with the system is that its based on a model of selling through face to face, or phone interaction. Either talking to someone at the grocery store, holding a meeting at your house, or taking phone calls from advertising through the newspaper, putting out signs, or handing out your business card.
Now I might be able topersuade people this way and have a great personality for this and actually love it, but that is a small part of the population. Most people don't like talking to people who they have never met and trying to sell them on their product, no matter how good it is.
What do the rest of us DO?
Maybe there is a better way.
With all the technology out their and the enormous audience from the internet, shouldn't that be a better way? Can't I reach hundreds, thousands, maybe even millions over the internet without having to talk to each person face to face or over the phone? Letting the technology take over and sell my products?
Now you might have the same problem here you did with selling face to face or over the phone. "I don't know about technology. Heck, I hardly know how to turn on my computer! I don't know about SEO optimization, capture pages, sales pages, how to put up a website or a blog. Once I get the leads I don't know how to write sales copy, create a sales funnel, and convert these leads into sales."
(Don't worry, I didn't even know what some of these words meant, let alone what to do with them :) )
