Moringa is an amazing tree that is native to sub tropical and tropical regions, and is very popular in India and Africa.The genus Moringa Oleifera tree is the most popular and well known species of the moringa plant. Moringa trees are also known as the Drumstick Tree due to it's long drumstick like seed pods and the Horseradish Tree because of the roots likeness to horseradish in taste. All parts of the moringa tree have been used in native tribal lore and medicine for centuries and is widely used today. The leaves and seeds of the moringa tree contain all of the essential amino acids, antioxidants, and superb nutrition such as 4x the potassium of bananas, 4x the fiber of oats, 14x the calcium of milk, 9x the iron of spinach, 2x the vitamin A in carrots, and 2x the protein in yogurt! Ground seeds of the moringa plant have also been used as a water purifier because it coagulates with the large particles of impurities making it easier to separate.
 
Edible moringa oil is extracted from the seeds and is know as ben oil, due to it's high concentration in benehic acid.
