Any marketing piece you put out about your business represents you and your business. Each and every single thing - including a blog post, a video, a blog comment, a flyer...and so on.
Any marketing material is a statement about you.
A business card is no different.
I wanted new unique business cards and I had some requirements. (1) I wanted them to be made of recycled paper. (2) I wanted high quality cards. Having the highest quality was of the utmost importance for me.
I was searching for companies on Google when an ad just below the search bar caught my eye. I clicked it, landed on the site, and sure enough I was prone when I saw you could design your own quality cards on recycled paper!
These cards are not cheap by any means, but quality comes first for me. I would not feel comfortable giving out a card that feels like toilet paper.
I wanted a very simple but unique call card with a QR code.
If you don't know what a QR code is:
A " QR code" is the trademark for a type of matrix barcode, (or two-dimensional code) first designed for the automotive industry which you simply scan with your smart phone. (Download a free app called QRReader; works on Iphones not sure about Droid.)
After scanning the code the visitor will be re-directed to a website, a blog, an email, or watch a video. The QR code you see on my card is taking the visitor to a lead capture page.
On this page my direct sponsor at my network marketing company talks about ( in a short video) why he and I joined this particular company. If the visitor likes thevideo and wants more information, he or she has should opt in for more info about this business opportunity.
That's all there is to it!
I advocate you to implement QR codes on your offline marketing material.
There are a ton of free QR code creator sites such as: Google "QR code creator"!
The site I ordered my unique business cards from is called Moo. (Yep, this is an affiliate link, but I wanted to make this shout out for Moo whether they have JV or not)
Please share the love
