ACCA qualifications are essential to become an ACCA graduate and to become an ACCA student. ACCA is a wide course, which incorporates many small courses that would help you in many different ways. ACCA exams:
There are total 14 exams out of which nine have to be completed with high scores and nine are exempted. Other than just appearing for the exams and papers, you would also be required to have a certain practical knowledge about the world. You would also be required to read and know the Professional Ethics Module. Other than that, you would still need to have a Diploma in the course of Accounting and Business. Other than that, you may also be required to have an Advanced Diploma in Accounting and Business. You would need to have few essential ACCA qualifications so that you do not need to leave any paper and for that matter do not have to make an excuse to get exempted from any paper. ACCA qualification let you know how important it is to have a detailed knowledge in many other areas of Accounting and Business.
Now talking about things other than ACCA qualifications you need to know the papers you may be exempted from and not exempted from. There is an essential thing that students have to do. They have to pass all nice exams that are necessary and not exempted. This is the Fundamental level. In the Essential level, students have to pass all three exams. In the Professional level, the person would be required to pass two Option modules. To be a proper ACCA graduate and a good student, the person would have to take the exam in this order: Knowledge, skills, Essentials and Options. Each paper require 50% as the passing marks, otherwise the paper would have to be taken again.
ACCA and its modules:
P1 have to be prepared with full concentration and you would also be required to take along your calculator. You would be getting questions on auditing, risk management and many other areas for managing money and accounts. For F1-F3 the paper would test the basic knowledge of students regarding accounting, finance and management. F4-F9 is the Skills module that would require students to show their skills in technical areas. This would include the testing of students on law, auditing and accounts.
P1- P7 are also tough exams and each exam carries its own importance in the total score of ACCA. So, ACCA qualifications are important to undertake before the student can be completely ready to take P1-P7. These include the concepts of risks of government and the government ethics. This also includes corporate reporting. These papers also include your skills on business analysis, advanced financial management and advance audit and assurance knowledge. Each of these papers are taken with a certain gap so that the student has ample time to prepare for each exam.
P1- P7 refers to the most difficult stage that is the professional level. F4-F9 Papers are based on the skills that a person possesses about accounting, auditing and management. F1- F3 requires a person to have basic knowledge about the courses. Therefore, ACCA qualification helps in making a person more professional and more capable of understand the entire practicality of things. ACCA qualifications make a person not just a simple accountant but makes a person have endless option to succeed in his/her career and to have many great job opportunities. That person who has gained ACCA qualification can have job in any sector of the economy that may ask the person to deal in finance, public sectors and many private sectors.
