Are you at a loss for why every guy that you fall in love with either avoids you like the plague or decides that you're just friend material? Do you wish that you knew why every guy that is good and decent becomes turned off by you? Are you doing something wrong? Are you cursed? Whatever the real reason is you just want to put a stop to it and actually get the guy for once.
I know how frustrating all of this is. You're tired of seeing guys that you like walk away with another girl. It can get tiresome after a while. You meet a guy. You are attracted to him and it seems like he's attracted to you. Then you can almost feel him start to pull away from you. You can almost predict with pinpoint precision how it's all going to end. Either he will start dating someone else or you'll have that talk where he tells you that your relationship simply isn't going any futher than friendship.
The main reason why this happens to you is that you are too nice. You are kind and accomodating to a fault when you first start down that dating path with a guy. While you might say that you can't help it, this is actually a good curse to have. This is much better than the curse that many women have where they are self-centered and they don't really seem to care about the guy that they are dating. Even though these girls seem to get the guy the majority of the time, relationships with women like this are often short lived. While a guy does like a challenge, when he realizes on some level that he is never going to be a priority in a woman's life he will get tired of her behavior and move on. You have probably seen this yourself.
You are on the opposite end of the spectrum. When you find a guy that you're interested in and you begin to figure him out and feel safe around him you put everything that you have into the relationship. You don't complain or judge. You're not demanding or rude. You aren't a pest and you're not needy. You try to play everything right because you have lost guys like this before and you just want things to work out for at least a little while.
This attitude can sometimes turn a guy off. As things progress and once you become pretty sure that this guy is someone that you want to date you become someone different. You go into "girlfriend mode" and you change. While you were once fun and cool and the two of you had riveting conversations and there was chemistry, when you go into this zone a guy can feel it. A guy can feel when he is being cornered and instinctively he will want to flee.
The next time you start to get that feeling that things are about to get serious, just relax. Remember that this guy is spending time with you because he likes you. He is starting to trust you and you are becoming friends and maybe even best friends. Often the most successful relationships start out this way and naturally progress towards more intimate moments with touching, kissing, hugging and all the things that make a guy a boyfriend. Try not to put a label on things and just let the relationship be. Enjoy this time and let nature take its course as your new boyfriend comes to his own conclusion that you're pretty cool and that he wants to be exclusive with you and you alone.
