3 Way Calls And The Power Of Credibility!

Hello folks. This article focuses on the true sponsoring power of your personal mentor in this industry and your primary business. Let's face it, unless you're a professional speaker, salesman, or educator and have had previous training or success in Network Marketing, you'll need help when you're just getting started.

In fact, most new Network Marketers use their lack of sponsoring and company/product knowledge as a scapegoat for not sponsoring new reps quickly enough. In fact, it may be the primary reason they don't sponsor a single person. Or, it's just another excuse in a long line of challenges that originate with self-confidence. Either way, don't use your lack of knowledge as a scapegoat. A good friend of mine once said, "David, sometimes there's nothing to it, but to do it." He was basically saying, "Get to work, it's time to take action."

If I hadn't used 3 Way Calls when I first got started in this business, who knows if I'd still be in the industry. Personally, I learned a lot during those calls. First, through repetition I learned how to progress through the sponsoring process to increase my closing percentage. Second, again through repetition I learned how to overcome various objections.

Sure, you can go it alone. But know that you don't have to; insist on having your personal mentor/sponsor do several of your first calls together- especially your important prospects from your warm market.

Here's why:

Introducing them to a 3rd party who will validate what you say will substantially increase your credibility.
It makes your presentation more compelling.
It increases rapport.
It gives your prospect another person to connect with.
Prospects always enjoy hearing other people's stories and testimonials.
It makes your prospect feel like they're part of something that's bigger than just you and them.

The final bit of advice regarding 3 Way Calls for this post is: Once you've set up and have your mentor and prospect on the line, let your mentor take over. Remember you have the opportunity to listen and learn. Let your mentor develop rapport and don't interrupt. You'll be thankful you did.

No matter how huge you get in this industry, always remember the power of 3rd Party Validation. It's not only a sponsoring tool but a training tool as well.
