AC-11? is an extract derivative of the plant, Uncaria Tomentosa, more commonly known as Cat's Claw. This plant is indigenous to the Amazon rainforest and tribes living in these rain forests have used this plant and it's derivatives for centuries. The Shamans, or medicine men, for these tribes have used this plant for medicinal properties such as a kidney cleanser, to cure deep wounds, treatment of arthritis, rheumatism, bone pain, control of inflammation, gastric ulcers as well as treatment for cancer. The process that the shamans used, which created an active culture of AC-11?, was through a process of hot water extraction. Once this process is completed the existing liquid has a minimum 8 percent carboxy Alkyl Esters. The carboxy alkyl esters or CAE's are the primary active componenets of the AC-11?, and are responsible for 90% of the biological activiy relating to DNA repair and immune system enhancement.
