Fantasy Football has really taken off in many work circles and also recreation groups; fantasy is the top thing to do during the season. Fantasy football allows you to take players from different teams and they work together for you benefit in a point scoring system. The lure of the fantasy game is that stats are what win games and it allows you to not only follow your favorite NFL team but also those on your fantasy team. As a growing trend in many circles here at ProFootball-fans.com want to keep you in the know about who is hot and who is not in the fantasy world. Remember we are only projecting what could be, not what is because you never know what can happen in an NFL season. I have been a fan for many years and have played Fantasy Football for over 7 years, so I am always looking for an edge to win my league championship. In this article we are going to look at Fantasy Rankings, where you should possibly draft these players and what could be the projections.
Aaron Rodgers - QB - Green Bay Packers
Quite possibly the most efficient passer in the NFL today, the way Rodgers commands the Green Bay Packers offense is a thing of beauty. Not only does he seem to make the right throws at the right time but he also is very athletic and can run the ball when needed. Rodgers is not only a play maker he also the offensive heart and soul for the Packers.
Last season: 4,643 yards, 45 touchdowns and 6 interceptions
The cons: It will be very difficult to duplicate the season that he had last season, numbers may decline but not very much as many of the same pieces are still on offense.
Projections: 5,006 yards, 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions
Fact is fantasy football works on a point system so you need a quarterback that will put up the points, Rodgers is your guy he is definitely worth the 1 st round pick, select him and watch him produce for your team.
Tom Brady - QB - New England Patriots
What can you say about Tom Brady that has not been said, he is the offensive leader of the New England Patriots and as long as he has been in the league he has been a premier player. Drafted in the 6th round, he has been dominating opposing defenses with what seems like a man possessed. Brady is calm and cool in the pocket while he slowly dissects the defense.
Last season: 5,235 yards, 39 touchdowns and 12 interceptions
The cons: If you had to find one, he is older and change of personnel could be something that will hinder him throughout the season. Honestly I look for Brady to have better numbers than last season as the Patriots have added a few missing pieces.
Projections: 5,173 yards, 45 touchdowns and 10 interceptions
I will not make the same mistake that teams did back in the NFL draft, Brady is a solid 1 st round pick, just as Rodgers, he can put points on the board. Brady will be called on to do more than last season as the Patriots have added firepower in pursuit of another championship.
