Nowadays if you go into a store like Petco the animals there are SO expensive. You can look in the paper as well, but it seems to be that breeders really charge whatever they want when it comes to animals of any sort. This isn't to say the animals aren't worth the money you pay, but oftentimes you just want a regular animal you don't really care about it breed or its background! My cousin Rhonda actually tried looking in the paper a few months back for a dog for her kids and she was really amazed at the prices.
She wanted to get a Bichon Frise and they cost like $800 depending on the age, breed and genealogy of the animals. So I suggested something else to her - look on a free classified ads site. There are people in your city that want to sell puppies and other animals to you and they won't charge you a ton of money either. And they are animals you would really love to bring home to your kids!
Adorable Rottweiler Puppies: Large beautiful German Bloodline puppies out of German import sire (Champion/Sieger Eros von der Burg Weibertreu). Mother is also out of German imported parents. I LOVE Mastiffs! They are so cute and SO big! The cool thing about this is that even if you find a dog not in your area, usually the person will be willing to work something out for you. You can either have the puppies shipped or you can go and get them yourself. You can also use these free classifieds to find supplies for your new puppy as well. You can find classified ads of people selling stuff like dog bowls, cages, gates, toys, and yes, even clothes! Free ads are definitely the better way to go when it comes to finding animals of any type online or in your state/city. Try these online classified ads out for yourself and take home a sweet cuddly little puppy!
