Nowadays when it comes to searching for a tutor for your child, you begin to realize just how expensive something like this costs. Or, maybe it's not necessarily expensive, maybe your budget just went down over the last few years. It's completely understandable, a lot of people have had to buckle down on the money that gets spent on things. However, I think education for your child is one of those things that simply shouldn't get shut out because its "costly". If you're a parent, I'm sure you've seen a few of your friends and family members go through their own woes when it comes to not having a degree, and I'm almost positive you always said that this is something you would not have your child go through.
Even if your child is still in intermediate schooling, middle school or high school, if you can catch a problem and fix it before they graduate I think you will find this a step in the right direction as well. You can get your child lessons or a tutor in almost any subject imaginable. The one thing you want to look for is to make sure the tutor is certified and licensed. Heck, I could come over to your house right now and "teach" your kid math, but I probably wouldn't be that good because I'm horrible at math!! Instead, you want a person that has a degree or experience in the subject they are teaching your children.
If possible, try to get a company rather than an individual. And individual will cost less, but the certification and experience is definitely going to be there! In order to find a tutor or lessons for your child it's important you are looking in the right places. One of the sites you might want to start thinking about looking at are American classifieds. These are classifieds, like you would find in a newspaper, where people can post free ads about services they are offering. If you live in the US, then make sure you look for American classified ads or American sites or you are going to be getting people from other countries!
Teachers and tutors can post free classified ads on these online classifieds who are looking for people such as yourself to help give your children lessons. These online classifieds are used for all sorts of ads not even just education, but simple things as well such as Real Estate for sale, autos for sale, dogs for sale, etc. Find a site like this that is free so you can save money! This is especially good if you really are on a budget and don't want to spend a lot of money replying to or posting ads for services pertaining to your child's education!
