Have you were thought about all of the fun you can have with winter games? Depending on where you live and how much snow you received will make the difference. With a good amount of this white stuff you can find many ways to play in it. You could buy a good size sled and go sledding down the hills in your neighborhood. Then there are the good old fashion snow ball fights or just the building of a snowman. If you have a pond where the water has turned to ice you can try your luck at ice skating. Then there is the fun of building yourself a fort.
In the snow of olden days you might have had instead of the small sled an old car hood, of course using one of these was considered crazy and it was dangerous. They were also really to heavy to be able to pull around so one or two trips were enough and then again they were hard to stop. Then of course came the circular sled that you could have pulled behind a slow moving car, a big dog or to have just your rump going down that huge hill. It is also important to remember that with all of this fun you need to have the proper clothing.
Nothing can ruin your fun faster than not having the proper clothing on when going out to play in the snow. You will need a good warm coat zipped up with a hood. You might even want a stocking hat on your head as well. You will need good thick gloves that will keep your fingers from becoming cold. Then of course your should have a boots to keep your feet warm. After you have had enough you will want to go inside and probably get warm or if you got too warm to even out your heat. Never start taking these clothes off when you are still outside in the snow as you could cause yourself to become sick later.
Playing in the snow is usually pretty fun but also use common sense so that you do not become overly cold and do not stay out in it if you become wet or cold. This year you have probably had more snow then in years past and if this is true have your fun but be careful as well. When you have small children that are seeing it or playing in it for the first time it is very important that you stay with them at all times. It will be up to you to know when they have had enough. Kids are more interested in having fun.
