Breaking up survival is a matter of moving on or moving forward. It is not just recovering from pain, heart break, and lost love. Being heartbroken feels like your world was torn apart. It's as if you fell and crashed from the highest tower. You no longer know how to pick up yourself that were broken into pieces.
Surviving break up is the same as conquering challenges and perils. Life is not fair sometimes. But once we get through the other side, we will surely find the essence of our beings. Though the pains have dished dreams and eroded faith, we have to learn that life must go on.
Stand Up
You don't have to be slammed forever. Though you feel so helpless and you're losing energy to redeem yourself, you have to take the courage to stand up and pull yourself from the painful test of fate. By standing up, you are redeeming yourself.
The last thing you need to do is hide from yourself in the mirror or the world in general. Get up and face the day. Develop a routine and pretty soon it will be second nature rather than you forcing yourself to get up and move every morning.
Acceptance
Even if you do get out of bed or off the couch, you need to get out of the house. Take in some sunshine. See a movie. Enjoy a little retail therapy. Spend time with friends. Go out to dinner, the theater, or take in a concert. Get out and do things that you enjoy.
It really takes time to heal after breaking up. But once you divert your attention and refrain yourself from things that remind you of the past, you will be healed in no time. Healing within ourselves is the great determinant that we have finally moved on and is now ready to take another chance again.
Love again
For those taking the second chance, love is sweeter the second time around. For those moving on, to love again is the best solution. Allowing ourselves to love is an act of leaving the pains of the past and moving forward. Giving ourselves the chance to love again give us better opportunities of finding the best and and our destiny. Life is really ironic sometimes. With its ironies, life is indeed meaningful and essential no matter how many breakups you have gone through.
