Ask yourself..are you one of those persons who wish about residual income and don't have time to launch your online business? You're not alone. Many clients that I talk to in Ohio where I live ,claim they have too much to do and not enough time to execute and manage their internet endeavor. They begin to self-doubt themselves and their knowledge to execute thier visualization. They are still searching for a lucrative part-time job that can one day liberate them from career boredom. As like other brand new entrepreneurs they spend their time conceptualizing and doubting their very ambitions as they sit behind the computer and read about other successful online entrepreneurs. Self-doubt is the key destroyer of entrepreneurship. Until the big Google or Clickbank checks start rolling in, there is very little motivation for inexperienced internet entrepreneurs to latch onto any resourceful work regime that will build their venture into a highly profitable income replacer. You can wind up feeling that your life is spent catering to every one else's obligations if you don't place educating yourself about online marketing first. It sounds selfish, but you will have to move a mountain to rationalize to your family or spouse why you need to wake up early one additional hour or go to bed later, or sacrifice sunday afternoons in order to read & watch tutorials and design your website(s). It will take a momentous amount of time to achieve online triumph, so don't become annoyed with mediocre results.. Although making a website can be done in one or two days, checking the search engine data and site maitenance is a day after day requirement that demands allegiance. And I didn't say "successful" I said profitable, because you need to focus on turning a profit then focus on maximizing the profit. Take baby-steps then you can begin to stride and eventually run loose with all your commission checks immediately to the bank. I want to share with you some motivating facts. Many self-doubter like yourself can administer your time effectively in spite of your busy personal and professional life. What is required of you is the perception in your ability to be flexible. Try the following strategies to make your home based business flourish. YOu need a "work stattion: If your home or apartment is large enough to dedicate a separate room or even the basement that would be remarkable. If you have a little nook, or corner office off of the livingroom in the corner that will work just fine. Though, you need a distinct and organized space to create your atmosphere. I prefer to work in the basment where no one, and no phone calls can reach me when I am behind the computer, i highly advise this area of the house. This is what I prefer, once again you must decide for yourself what is comfortable for inspiration and focus. I highly recommend buying a large desk or at least 2 small desks that you can creat an "L" shaped workstation one desk where you will have your computer and cup of coffe sitting and the other desk where you might have another computer open or documents and papers and notes you have written about your business, or the new website you are creating etc. Many successful multi-taskers in all professional fields use the two-desk system for a work-station. Maybe it is within your budget, and I know the recession is still impacting a lot of us, but having two computers for your workstation is also beneficial. I call my work-station in the basement, "The Bunker". Document the start and end time on events like getting ready for work, driving your kids to school, your commute to your day job, gym time and any other weekly commitments you have. However, do not sacrifice some time with your family or spouse, they are more important than the pursuit of money. Once you have documented your work sessions for a month, you will have of idea of how efficient or inefficient you are and where to improve. You may see large gaps in your current schedule where you could fill with time behind the computer. Make your goal easy: try to find two hours you can commit to spend on your business. You should be able to re-prioritize some time.
Stay with the Schedule You Created and Re-Evaluate: The next thing you need to do is stick with your schedule. This can be tough because you are creating a new habit. After many years of corporate life, I do highly recommend waking up the same time that you usually rise for your previous traditional job. In this way; copying a prior effective routine, you could achieve some level of pyschological comfort that you are actually performing a traditional job every day..familiarity is comfort. I like morning productivity, when my mind is awake, mid-afternnon I am useless, lazy and it is nap time in front of CNN. However, like changing seasons, your new routine can turn out to be restrictive, so be flexible and change if needed even if you are productive--keep testing yourself! it may shock you once again as you evolve in your entrepreneurship, that you still have plenty of extra time for your online endeavors.Sticking with your schedule means you need to discipline yourself to work. What commitment means , is that you have to always remain flexible to use every extra minute of free time to your online business--period!Don't Forget Your Family:Spending time with my family is always a top priority for me. I have young children so I try to focus on the business when my kids are in bed. You will also discover that your "second-wind" arrives late at night when the family and the dog are all asleep. Late night just like early morning both seem to be very quiet work-station times. Your family will respect your entrepreneurship and work-station quiet-time if you respect their needs for affection and face-time, be there for them and they will be there for you during your success and failures. Alternatively, if you must sacrifice family time to launch your online business, then clearly explain what you are doing to your family, especially the youngest members. By establishing a work session time limit, your family can rest assured that at some point you will be free again. This will provide balance for you.
Remain welcoming to major interuptions into your work time.Your busy life and family can unexpectantly interupt everything. Try your best to embrace that fact instead of fighting it.
