I have a gorgeous female liver Labrador & she is incredibly greedy therefore as soon as our dog is unwell I guess that it's as a result of overeating! That is what I assumed at any rate but I do not over feed her and certainly not at all donate her goodies by the table. Next I discovered the neighbors schoolboy was throwing away his bread rolls into my backyard - not great for our pet dogs fitness and possibly the reason for our sick pet. Following getting that sorted out I thought she would discontinue being sick so often however it still continued. I chatted to our vet in relation to if I must be getting some dog medicine plus described how our dog is sick as well as at what time it happens. She suggested feeding her three meals each day rather than twice. This did progress a little bit although while on holiday in the summer time it got poorer - our dog throwing up next to the camp site was not nice. Awfully embarrassing while our dog is sick within the center in the playing ground. Anyhow I saw a book on the subject of canine animals and stumbled across various helpful information that incorporated a few ideas on how to bring to an end your dog throwing up. As soon as you offer a dog dry food the food expands in their stomachs. It could be a trouble for a number of canines. Whenever they next drink, the food expands even more & it could make your dog ill.
Our chocolate Labrador is extremely greedy & chucks down her food so high-speed that she takes in a whole lot of air as well. That is what was the reason for her unwell. Giving her smaller amounts to eat at a time aided however didn't end the food swelling particularly following eating. I guess my dog has a vulnerable belly (like me!). What we do currently is usually to lay her dog food out and after that pour boiling water on top of it. As soon as this has cooled we have a tendency to allow her eat and say stop when she begins eating too rapidly. She has currently learnt what stop means and waits for us to notify her she can carry on eating again. We store only a little amount of water inside her drinking bowl so she can't drink too much straight away & then after roughly half hr we permit her to drink as much as she wants.
Doing this has prevented my dog vomiting furthermore given us peace of mind concerning camping out next time! If you find your dog is ill subsequent to drinking or after eating then attempt this and see if it helps.
