Copenhagen is one of the most preferred destinations in all of Europe. People who get the opportunity to visit Copenhagen will be amazed at the beauty of the landscape and the attractions that are available in all of Denmark. Since most of the attractions are easily accessible by foot there is no need to worry about transportation.
Copenhagen's extraordinary architecture allows tourists to see how different it is from any other metropolis. The fine dining and shopping facilities will make you feel like you're part of an aristocratic society still. Two of the best times to visit Copenhagen are in the summer and at Christmas. In the summer the weather is very comfortable and allows people to partake in outdoor activities such as visiting the Tivoli Gardens which is an amusement park as well as the cities numerous sidewalk cafes.
After a snowfall Copenhagen is extremely beautiful and the local shops and stores are set up for the Christmas holiday in order to create a wonderful shopping experience that you remember. Hans Christian Anderson's fairy tales are included at the Tivoli Gardens, which is for the young and those who are still young at heart. The only thing that you won't have enough of in Copenhagen is time; there are just so many activities to do for any person or age group.
Copenhagen is also home to many world class museums, well known department stores, excellent restaurants, and theatres offering entertainment for all age groups.
The citizens and tourists of Copenhagen really care about the city and take great pride in keeping the streets and stores very clean. Having the largest pedestrian mall and such a large population that walks creates quite the statement when you notice the cleanliness. It's a unique experience to visit a city with people who respect their city and environment so much.
Copenhagen has millions of visitors to their city each year and continues to be a top destination in Europe. Finding a Copenhagen hostel may be difficult for some, but great deals do exist and the internet can help you find them.
