Lets face it, stretching isn't the most enjoyable thing to do. We live in a world where we are always on the go! Lunch dates, meetings, dinners and so many more excuse as to why we don't stretch! I have been running for the past 4 years and often get very painful unbearable leg cramps. I always keen my water levels up and always stretch. Though we live in a very busy world now and time and again we never find the time to stretch or we just a bored with it. I often skip out on the stretch part of a group fitness class because I'm either too exhausted and i am just to bored to stretch. I think we have all forgotten the importance on stretching. Lets get it straight, not stretching is not the only factor that may cause muscle cramps, loosing your electrolytes does. When we work out, or we sweat we are loosing our electrolytes, which we need to perform at our best. Without these electrolytes we may often give in to weakness and perform very poor in our every day life.

Through my searches along the way i tried liquids such as sports drinks which they state to replenish your electrolytes. Drinks such as Gatorade were trialed and i thought to myself, how can something that taste pretty good be decent for us. The taste can definatley be a influential reason in choosing electrolyte replenishments, but gatorade does include sugar. Is it good for us? Gatorade doesnt claim to be.

Why do you use artificial color? Can you make Gatorade without artificial colors?

"The colors of Gatorade not only look good but also help in flavor perception and enable you to tell different flavors apart. All colors and ingredients in Gatorade qualify for human consumption according to the requirements of the FDA, added at the lowest possible level to achieve the desired color"

Why do we put artificial flavors and colors into our bodies if we know they are not good for us? My presumption is because there has never really been something out there that is 100% ORGANIC or NATURAL.

On my searches I discovered a new product called RECOVERY e21, to my surprise it is 100% ORGANIC and 100% NATURAL and it has 18 more elements that Gatorade. Gatorade contains SYNTHETIC INGREDIENTS and SWEETENERS - whereas RECOVER e21 is 100% NATURAL. Although Gatorade tastes great, it does contain ingredients that ARE NOT good for us.

So in a world full of so many synthetic products such as Gatorade when do we soon choose to fix our problems the natural way?
