I spoke regarding why it's NOT true that protein is what makes up most of the muscle weight on your body.
These days, I'm going to write down a very little regarding the 2nd myth: that eating high amounts of fats or carbs (versus eating high protein) is going to form you look like a very little ball of lard (fat).
Let me create one purpose extremely clear, if your goal is to achieve muscle weight and build muscle mass, eating low amounts of fats or carbs IS NOT the approach to travel!
There are various that are below the impression that you'll be able to gain muscle WITHOUT gaining fat by eating a high protein, low to moderate fat or low to moderate carb diet.
Well, I'm here to tell you that it couldn't be any from the truth.
Back in the 70's and eighty's everybody was on the "low fat" kick.
Folks thought that you had to avoid fats in any respect costs, even if you were trying to realize muscle weight.
That is when all of these "low" or "no fat" product hit the markets, capitalizing on the newest fad.
Then, abruptly, out of no where, with the re-publication of the Atkins Diet book, within the ninety's, and even currently, everyone completely created a flip-around and commenced to create carbs ENEMY 1.
Now, it absolutely was all fine and dandy to eat fats and high protein, "ohhhh, but keep off from those carbs". Man, are we tend to gullible!
What is down-right funny is the actual fact that whether people were following a coffee fat diet or low carb diet, everyone still wasn't wanting any better.
Individuals still weren't reaching their muscle building / weight gaining goals!
Well, to get right to the point of this matter (since I may write concerning this for pages and pages), no matter how you divide your calories, high fat, low fat, high protein, low protein, high carb, low carb, etc., you're NOT going to achieve one ounce of muscle weight if you don’t eat enough overall calories……amount!!!!!
You'll stuff protein gram once protein gram down your throat, but if you do not give your body enough calories, you are not going to achieve weight.
Vice-versa, you'll last all-time low carb or fat diet around, but if you're still eating MORE calories than what your body uses per day, you are not going to burn fat.
Your body responds to CALORIES.
Food, no matter what sort, is digested in the stomach, gets converted into a kind of ENERGY, gets sent to the bloodstream, gets transferred to the different tissues and organs, where it's then used how your body best sees fit.
It's not the fact that you are eating carbs or eating fats that build people overweight, it's the very fact that they are eating too many calories, either per day or per sitting!!!!!
If you wish to achieve weight, you can not last a coffee fat or carb diet.
I repeat, you CANNOT. Your body needs those calories. It is impossible to induce enough calories from simply protein to build muscle.
Conjointly, it's carbs that gets converted into glucose, which is that the ONLY thing that your muscles will use to supply energy to a muscle when it's operating out, and is the only substance in the body that pushes water and different nutrients into a muscle, that adds to the amount, size, and weight of a muscle…….NOT protein!
It's fats that your body uses to line the muscle cells and creates the hormones that facilitate build muscle mass, like testosterone……not protein! In my next article I will write concerning the third protein myth that is being spread.
