Having recently purchased a new house I have been on the lookout to buy a a small number of lovely pieces to furnish it with. I like the look and feel of antique furniture but it can be very hard to come across precisely what you are looking for and the prices can be excessive. In terms of the choice and pricing it made much more sense to look at reproduction pieces but I didn't want to compromise too much on the quality.

The quality of all the pieces they have on display really looks superb and fully justified our decision to go the reproduction route. To be honest I think you would have to be quite the expert to even tell the reproduction items from the originals. They don't just look 'old' - the way the French polishers have carefully added distress to the pieces is simply amazing. The hue and sheen of the wood really does make it look like some family heirloom that has obtained its character from years of love and use!
There seems to have been a lot of care and attention put into all the ranges they offer. Right from the choice of wood through the construction and to the expert finishing and professional polishing- the attention to detail is all aimed at producing quality reproductions that are as close as possible to the original furniture of centuries ago.
The site has good quality images and lots of detail and information describing the many choices of woods, veneers and finishes for each range and even some YouTube video clips where you can see some of the pieces in detail and hear the various finishing processes and choices described in greater depth.
