I'm a scientist with a PhD in chemical engineering. I've spent several years teaching at the University of Manchester in England as well as lecturing and consulting internationally. I've had work published in countless scientific journals, encyclopedias and university textbooks too.

I recently put all that scientific knowledge to good use when I created The Apollo Program. And unlike many other "gurus," I know my system works, because I've actually followed it myself.

Before I did it, I was overweight and unhealthy, and I looked and felt much older than I really was. Play the video on the left, and you'll see what I'm talking about!

I used to weigh 100 kilograms (220 pounds) and had a size-40 waist and a bloated belly.
I was embarrassed to take my clothes off in front of other people. I had awful hair and a puffy, swollen face, and felt tired and drained all the time. I was so stiff that even touching my toes was difficult and my lower back would seize up in agony when I got out of bed or stood up.

I created The Apollo Program for myself because I was desperately unhappy. I was tired of being like that and wanted a change. A dramatic one. And thanks to my system, I got it. In fact, the change was so dramatic that I'm often asked if I digitally pasted my head onto someone else's body in my photographs!

I suppose I can't blame people for being skeptical. After all, I'm 37, but my body's now in the same shape as when I was in college. I have a size-32 waistline with a "six-pack," and I lost 20 kilograms (44 pounds) of ugly body fat.

Not only that, but I look and feel younger and more alive now than I have in years. If you want to know how you can achieve the same kind of transformation without surgery, without drugs, and without spending hours in the gym every day, then you've come to the right place.
Parents, has this ever happened to you?

When I was in my teens and early 20s, I was in pretty good shape. But by the time I got into my mid-30s, that all disappeared. As a dad with "Responsibilities," I'd let my body and appearance go. Like many men my age, I managed to delude myself that this was okay.

I can still remember clearly the day I realised that it wasn't okay. I’d gone on a summer vacation with my family and we’d all gone to the beach with some friends. This was the same beach where I used to spend my summers 15 years before, but now something was different: now nobody paid me a second glance. And why should they? I was just another flabby, 30-something parent staggering across the sand, loaded with a cooler bag and toddler in one hand and a bag of nappies and an umbrella in the other – hardly a glamorous sight.

As I sat down exhausted, I saw a bunch of young, “happening” guys in the water. They looked about 18 or 19, carefree and with athletic, youthful bodies. As I watched them happily swimming, surfing and playing volleyball, with all the girls eyeing them, I started to boil inside. I was seriously pissed off by how unfair it was. It wasn’t right that my youth should have disappeared so quickly. I was far too young to be this nondescript middle-aged guy sitting in the shade.

I grabbed my digital camera and ran to the public toilets on the beach which had a huge mirror on the wall. I took a photo of myself and then promised myself that things were going to change. Despite my age, I wanted the body I had when I was 18!

Everyone said it couldn't be done. Well, I was going to prove everyone wrong!

There was just one small problem though...
Modern health and fitness "experts" have been lying to us!

Nothing I tried was working. And I do mean nothing!

I wasted a fortune on expensive gym memberships and high-priced personal trainers. I spent hours and hours doing cardio, even waking up 5 a.m., because I'd been told I needed to train first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach.

And I tried all the latest diets too. I'd go through the day starving, but with no results. I tried cutting out carbs and following those stupid and dangerous high-protein diets that the "nutritional experts" were advising. But again, no results. In fact, I was even getting fatter and in worse shape than before!

I started to notice that it wasn't just me who was working hard, but getting nowhere. My gym was packed full of people who were training hard and diligently, but weren't seeing results either. Even having a fitness coach standing over them for "motivation" wasn't a guarantee of anything.

With hindsight, I can now see clearly that there were two reasons things weren't working for us:
