One of the greatest tools for christian churches is something known as church bulletins. These appear like such a small thing for churches to have but they actually have a lot more use than merely telling their members about the songs that will be sung. These bulletins could actually be used to develop the church.
At first you may not understand why I say that but give me a moment and you too will see how powerful these tools are. The way to use a church bulletin properly is to have a slip of a survey inside of it. You will want to gather information from your visitors. Of course you can have seen numerous churches use this system. The visitor slips in your bulletins will tell you who they are and how to contact them.
You will need to use this information to move them from visitors to members. First you have to take the information you gathered and plan a visit. Normally it is a good hypothesis to call first.
One way in which to get people to fill this information out is to have everybody together with your members fill the forms out. This must be done early in the service. If visitors see even the members fill out the christian church bulletins then they will not want to feel left out of course.
Throughout your service have some of your members take the information and get a gift basket which should already be all set ready to go. During service these members can go to the homes of those who are visiting and leave a gift basket at their door. This will leave a great impression of your church. It all came from the use of a church bulletin that contained a form for visitors to fill out.
You may also use the bulletins to gather information from the members of your church. This is a great way to find out if there is anything that needs attention in your church. A recurrent survey of your members may prove to be something that keeps your church healthy.
These are actually common things that christian churches have been doing for a long time. Church bulletins have long been used to get information to the people but as you may see they could also be used to gather information from the people as well. In this way your church bulletin will become one of your churches greatest friends.
It doesn’t cost much to get a bulletin together. A uncomplicated sheet of paper folded in half will do. There are many online however that you can download and print. Only try to involve a visitor slip inside all of your church bulletins.
