Cut out the juices and pop. This can be a huge ordeal in your house but the best gift you can offer your child is getting used to drinking lots of water. Water works to make their bellies feel full and keeps them hydrated for the added activities you should be introducing into their routines.

Have them take dance, take up a sport, or just get out and play around the garden. The worst thing you can do is to permit your sons or daughters to become comatose TV, computer, or game zombies. Get them out and get them active. This helps in two ways. Firstly, they are not eating if they're outside playing and having a good time. Second, they're just burning calories when they play which is a big bonus in the diet process for your children.

When your child begins to take off the extra weight you should notice a very big difference in not just the way he or she carries his or herself but also in his or her interactions with other people. Your kid will experience restored and renewed self-confidence when the kilos come off and the joking in school will end.
