Now that Internet Explorer isn't longer the default browser on the Windows in use system, this maybe the time to take a look at using an alternative browser to surf the web.

A browser is a program that allows you to see web sites on the World Wide Web. You are using a browser currently to look at this article. And if you did not know that you are running a browser, I expect that you’re using the Internet Explorer browser! (It is the little ‘e’ symbol you click on if you have to hunt for something.)

So! Why Would I Want to Amend my Browser?

Well, all browsers have one universal objective, that would be to allow you to view web pages. Then again, all of them have pros and cons. The main drawback for Internet explorer is swiftness. It can take forever to begin and a very long time to open web pages. If it is causing you frustration it follows that it is time to check out adding a new browser.
There is a lot of browsers available there. Below I have selected what I judge to be the finest five and I have wriiten a review on every one of them. This really is my individual opinion and you may perhaps find that what works for me, doesn’t inevitably work for you. For my part, I prefer things to be uncomplicated to use and fast without asking me stupid queries continuously or interrupting my work to tell me about processes that I’ve no interest in. I am a fairly bad-tempered sort of individual!

The 5 browsers that I have selected are: Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera.

Internet Explorer is Still The Most Popular Browser, Buy Why ?

While IE8 is no doubt a far superior browser to it’s predecessors, it’s still an extremely ordinary browser, IMHO. Yes, it has a new navigation bar. Yes, it is a greater design. Yes, it has now got tabbed browsing and as I’m informed, it is much improved with plug-ins and security. But, I do not care. It is so slow, I’ve had time for a shower and change by the time it’s booted up. Because of this reason alone, I only put it to use when I definitely have to. E.g. to verify what a site that I’ve designed appears like for the majority of the web population.

Firefox - Do not Believe All The Hype

Firefox has been growing in worldwide recognition for a while now. I have been using it for more than a few years. And I can inform you that it is definitely the greatest browser for customising your web enjoyment. There are thousands of plug-ins and add-ons allowing you to organize split screen browsing, dedicated applications for social networking, language conversion and to modify the background colours of the browser. And do you know what? I do not care about that either.

Myself, I have to get onto the world wide web as soon as possible. If I need to check my facebook page I will log on. Ditto Twitter. In reality, I have got these functions on my iphone. So, I let them inform me on that. My laptop – I just want to get on and do some work as swiftly as possible.
Here is the chief drawback with Firefox. While it used to be a pretty cool, quick browser, it has now turning out to be stuffed and slow. From my recent experience it’s no faster than Internet Explorer. And that’s a cardinal sin for a browser.

Chrome – All That As Well as a Bag of Chips

Now the third most popular browser Chrome. Google are pushing this software pretty hard, advertising it everywhere. It has primarily been created for speed. I do rate it favorably. I favor the fact that it’s simple and neat. I enjoy typing searches directly into the address bar, an extremely and cleverly thought out space saver. But most of all, I love its swiftness. It boots up immediately and finds pages quick. What extra could you ask for from a browser? Nothing, as far as I'm concerned. This really is the Prada of all browsers.

Safari – Not Bad, But Does Anyone Actually Care?

I've always found it difficult getting excited regarding the Safari browser. Although I do have it installed on my computer (PC), I can hardly ever think of a motive to open it besides for work. (I design a whole lot of websites). I never use it for surfing. And I’m trying to think why that is.
The speed is average, it is relatively stable and the bookmarking is rather respectable, it renders well (web pages look nice in it), however the browser itself is pretty dreadful. And this is what I think it is. It does everything OK. But it isn’t outstanding in any one area so far as I’m concerned. Better than Internet explorer, but this is just about all I can say with reference to it.

Opera – Extremely Good And Not Just For Bearded Weirdos

I’ve had Opera running on my computer since God was a lad. And to a large extent like Safari I’ve never really had much reason to try out about with it besides work. But just lately, and doubtless because it has been within the the media a lot, I’m beginning to like it more and more. I like the performance also it feels great to use. I truly like the preview screen as soon as you float over a tab.

But mostly I like it because it’s quick. Maybe as quick as Chrome – possibly quicker. But this comes with a trade off on quality, as it doesn’t render the pages as neatly as the other browsers. I suspect that is why it’s an excellent application for the iphone. The screen is smaller plus a mobile device has less power and often connects over the 3G network – which remains to be garbage for surfing the net. So, a small, fast browser is key. I would put Opera as my 2nd choice.
This is my review of what I consider are the very best 5 most popular browsers. Even if you have not tried Google Chrome, you should. But why not give all of them a bash and discover yourself? If you have any difficulties use a profesional company like I did when I first started out.

Author Resource:

Give it a go. As I have previously stated, it doesn't take long to test them out. Don't be scared to experiment with browsers. I was a bit of a novice at it myself. Living in London, all I did was to run a search using keywords and phrases such as electrician london . Believe it or not It led me to a computer expert. You will be surprised how much alteration it makes to your surfing experience. They all install instantly and they all uninstall even quicker, so it won’t take up a lot of your time to experiment.I run a lot of my business from my home using my computer, as I am sure a lot of us do. Speed is very important to me which is the major reason for this article. I am sure many of you will find it interesting and useful.
