Myth Number 3. A career in writing means writing books or articles... and that's it. False. Utterly so. While writing articles, novels, or non-fictional books are doubtless the most popular ways to earn money with your writing, there are other, less known ways too. Review writing, blogging, and writing website content, just to name a few.
A career in writing does have more than a little appeal to people that love working with words. Just be fore-warned that for lots of people it is not the dream job they might be imagining.
