WHICH ROAD DO I HAVE TO TAKE TO REAR A GOOD CHILD?
The basic parenting equipment that we have is the way in which our very own parents brought us up. Proper parenting skills are a major requirement in this lifelong child rearing preparation process and you have to be sure that you are equipped with good parenting skills.
THE PROCESS OF BEING A NEW PARENT.
Being a parent is a life long experience.
HERE ARE THE PROCESSES THAT YOU SHOULD KNOW TO BECOME SKILLED IN PARENTING.
>> To rediscover the inner child within you - parents have to step inside your children shoes. Try to remember what it was like to be a kid again which is known as a process called "rediscovering your inner child". You must admit, that parents tend to forget how it is to just relax and they get stuck with their boring lifestyle and jobs. For parents to understand the issues at hand with regards to their children you should place yourself in your children shoes. Try to see things from your child's perspective and by doing so you will then realize and understanding about how they're feeling and why they're rebelling. Proper and good parenting skills teaches you how to actually listen to your child's needs and not relinquish them, but it is all up to you on how can you stand strong and see the issues in your child's eyes and end to a solution that will please you both.
PARENTING IS A NEVER-ENDING JOB.
A younger child needs lots of attention as well as proper guidance as they are growing up. Children now, regardless of their age needs help and proper guidance from you their parents. Even after all of your children have grown up, they will still come to you for advice. By the time your child steps out into the world at age 18, they are considered as an adult (well, in some cases this may not be applicable). Parenting never stops, whether you realized it or not.
TEACH YOUR KIDS SELF-RELIANCE
When parents have the mind frame that giving your child things (from toys, to high tech gadgets etc. By allowing your child to experience his/her, life to its fullest on their terms within a safe boundaries level of responsibilities is considered as the greatest gift to give your child. As opposed to other children who have little or no opportunity to be allowed to explore self-reliance, who was never taught to learn that with possession always comes responsibility, and was never allowed to fulfill their very own needs, sadly they tend to acquire a sense of entitlement which obscures their sense of contribution. By giving acceptance, abundant love and affection to your child, they tend to be kinder, charitable and best of all responsible as opposed to those whose parents acceded to their every whims and materialistic demands. GET MORE COMPLIANCE FROM YOUR CHILD. If your child argues, all you have to do is to repeat that rule over and over, as opposed you starting a debate with your child and as a result of doing this, you will gain more cooperation from your child. Instead you could put it this way, "Would you do your chore/s before or after school today?", in order to gain cooperation from your child. A example of positive communication is, when your child asks "Can I watch TV now?" If your initial response to allowing your child to watch TV is "No, you can't watch TV right now, try saying, "You can watch right after dinner".
COMMON CHILD AND PARENT PROBLEMS.
Your child will begin to revolt about attending school in ordinary school shoes, they might be asking for designer gear like those "other kids" and parents tell their kids not to feel jealous or even inferior. However, as kids approach the age of ten or maybe eleven they may start to rebel against this as a lot of their school friends are already permitted to go off and play by themselves. Parents are trying to guide their children to the best of their knowledge by reliving their very own childhood/teen years and the truth of the matter is that parents haven't really moved forward to present times. Going out alone is just not an option for children any more.
MAKE MEMORIES WITH QUALITY FAMILY TIME.
You do not need to perform a major makeover in starting to increase your quality time that you and your family spend together.
THE FOLLOWING TIPS ENSURE THAT YOUR FAMILY TIME WILL BE STRESS FREE AND WILL ENSURE THAT YOU WILL MAKE YOUR FAMILY MEMORIES LAST FOR A LIFETIME:
>> Plan a simple dinner that is delicious and nutritious, but doesn't require stress while preparing it.
>> You can write down notes of positive and truly inspiring stories that you hear about in the media and then use those positive stories to start a dinner conversation with.
