Summer is a time of fun, sun and beach, but some fear this time. During winter most of us acquire a few extra pounds and when tips you could arrives it is dreadful to walk around in our swimwear with bulging stomachs. If only we could drop those extra pounds quickly. Losing a few pounds quickly is not as hard as it sounds. Just follow these tips for one week and you will be amazed at the results.

Tip 1: Be determined - if you are not really determined to lose a few pounds you will not be able to succeed. A mental picture of how you wish to be can help you focus. Without proper focus you will fold before those little decadent temptations.

Tip 2: Eat a little less with every meal. Perhaps an obvious tip, but very effective nonetheless. {You do not have to starve yourself; just eat a ¼ or so less than usual|No need to starve yourself, just reduce about on quarter of the food you would typically eat|Just eat about one quarter less than normal}. You will see the change this makes.

Tip 3: Combining this tip with the previous one is very effective. Simply drink at least one glass of water before each meal. You will feel satisfied much easier this way. Water is also great for your overall well-being.

Tip 4: Increase foods like vegetables, whole grains and fibres in your weekly diet. These foods are very healthy and they will fill you quicker than most other foods. These foods are good for you and your are allowed to eat more of them without gaining weight.

Tip 5: Try to avoid fatty foods and sugars for this week. It will be hard, but remember tip 1. You want to fit into that swimsuit. The food in tip 4 is great substitutions for fatty food and sugars. Also, rather than eating sweets, try healthier alternatives like dried fruit. You will be amazed at the difference cutting fats and sugars make.

Tip 6: Of course the last tip will be expected - get a little more exercise. You do not need to jog or do a full body workout. Steady walking for a few minutes will help. The point is not to train for fitness, but just to get your muscles to burn more calories than usually Lower your intake of food will help, but not always enough. Combining taking fewer calories with burning a few more each day can double your weight loss.

Just do it for one week and see the difference.
