There are many people who think that life comes to a grinding halt when they turn forty where on the contrary according to an adage life actually starts when you hit forty. So when your loved one turns forty you should have a few party ideas up your sleeve. The party needs to consist of guests that include close family members and friends who should be there to honor your fortieth birthday. An exciting party will ensure that a person actually starts to believe that his life has actually started and that he proudly enters his mid adulthood.
Now when planning an exciting party for the person you love it should almost always be a surprise party. When a person reaches the age of forty he has really experienced almost every type of birthday party. A surprise birthday party is however something he or she has probably never experienced and so they will not expect. However arranging a surprise birthday party can be a bit tricky. The reason behind this is that you need to be able to plan your party without your loved one finding out about it. When a love one lives in the same house you do this can sometimes be a bit difficult. So you will need to get other people such as close friends involved.
This might sound like a really bizarre birthday idea but believe me that it will really be fun. You start by arranging an over hill party complete with mock tombstones, black color décor and a special cake. You can even have some of the guests dress up as priests and grave diggers. You an also give this a bit of a scary feeling so that the person feels a bit strange, yet enjoys the whole event.
By the time a person turns forty he has achieved much during his life time. This can all be compiled in the form of a scrapbook and a few poems. Old pictures can be pasted in the scrapbook to give it a more nostalgic feeling. This kind of thing is totally invaluable and can be presented as a gift to your loved one during their birthday party. The person’s favorite song can also be played during his birthday. If you are his or her spouse you can play your favorite song that will increase the bond of love between you two.
Another good party idea is to arrange a party on the beach. If it’s the summer season and the person in question loves the sand and sea then the beach is the perfect spot. This is an excellent birthday idea that unfortunately not many people make use of. Almost everyone loves the beach so expect to receive many people.
There are possibly dozens of other ideas in addition to the ones above. What you choose really depends on the nature of the person whose birthday needs to be arranged and your personal relationship with him or her. So keep in mind all these factors and don’t forget to have fun.
