* Play games online with your friends and family.
* Publish your internal application servers, such as Web servers, FTP servers, e-mail servers...

Now, let us see how to install the router in order to be connected to your broadband modem. We assume that the Linksys wireless-G router is the only router in your network. Therefore, here is what you should do:
1. Unplug the power cords from your router and your broadband modem.
2. Connect the router to your broadband modem using an Ethernet cable.
3. Connect the router to your computer using standard Ethernet networking cable.
4. Power on the broadband modem.
5. Connect one end of the power adapter to the router's power port, and the other end to the electrical outlet.
6. Open on of these URLs in order to start configuring your router: 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1.
