Christmas is the most joyous season that everyone looks forward to when the month of December approaches. People start decorating their simple, mini, or gigantic Christmas Trees. It brings peace as the solemnity of this season lingers in our hearts. People from different countries are also heading for a Christmas Party that also excites kids, teens, adults, and even the elderly. Xmas party nights are events where we give gifts and express gratitude for all the blessings given the entire year. This is the season where we are being reunited with our loved ones, misunderstandings are being settled, and love is increased towards our fellowmen.
Christmas Parties are the most common patterns being done to celebrate the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. Different activities are being held during Xmas party, games, which are significant to everybody, make this event more exciting and thrilling. We could also hear stories about Christmas. We hear Christmas songs when September comes. Although there are different approaches in celebrating and welcoming this season, yet we are all united and bonded in one purpose and theme and that is to give respect and honor to the most special child that was born here on earth.
People who are also busy working in the hospitals, police precincts, and other jobs that requires work during holiday seasons also plan office Christmas party on the day itself just to shun away the feeling of homesickness and loneliness. They have programs and exciting activities, favorite menus prepared on their working tables, and talent presentations to have a feeling of closeness just as if their loved ones were there to celebrate it with them. Employees who work at the eve of Christmas, prefer to hold Xmas party nights rather than commemorating it at daytime.
What does Christmas really mean to you and to us? It is actually a mass of Christ and when combined later, it formed the word Christmas. Then a shorter form was made and it was called Xmas which came from the Greek Alphabet wherein X is the first letter word that we can find in the name “Christ”. Christmas carols or choir presentations are part of the Christmas party nowadays. A theme associated with it is created to compliment with different Christmas parties in the world. Despite that this season is literally linked with Christian beliefs, other denominations respect it and uphold it.
Office Christmas party actually started in 1952 in New York and successfully followed in 1981 whereas other states in the America and nations in different corners in the world started doing it as part of the culture. Cheaper and fun activities can be made during Xmas party without aggrandizing them in flamboyant and luxurious decorations, food preparations, and prizes. What really makes this yuletide season special is not the Christmas presents you receive, neither how adorable your new clothes are. They are all an equivocation of loyalty and faith towards the One who is the center of the event, and that is HE, the brightest of them all.
