The most common difficulty in setting goals is the word "IMPOSSIBLE". For the most part people get hung up thinking I can't do this. It is too hard. It is unattainable. No one can do this. If everyone thought that, there would be no inventions, no innovations, and no breakthroughs in human achievement. Because we have given up before we even take the first step!
We all must learn how to aspire higher and remove the word "impossible". Nothing is impossible! People thought that it was impossible for human beings to go to the moon; and they had been proven wrong. People said that it was impossible for us to fly across the continent; again they had been proven wrong!
So again, let me say it again... Nothing is impossible! Do not let this word encircle your mind!
If you don't allow the word "impossible" to surround your mind, you will not know that it's impossible to do what is actually achievable.
For instance, at some point in time scientists were puzzled when they took a look at the unassuming bumblebee. In theory, they said, it was not possible for the bumblebee to fly. Fortunately for the bumblebee nobody has told it so. As a result fly it does.
If you limit yourself with self-doubt, and self-limiting assumptions, you will in no way be able to break past what you consider not possible. If you reach excessively far out into the sky without working towards your goal, you will find yourself clinging to the impossible dream.
Break up your goals into achievable steps:
Don't let your goals to overwhelm you, break them down into manageble and achievable steps. Then outline in details how you are going to achieve each step so that you can move closer to your goals each day.
Set up your action plan:
After you have outlined the steps to achieve your goals, make an action plan to guide you through the implementation. Stick to your action plan each day so that you can focus your mind and energy on achieving your goals and dreams.
When you have goals in life and detailed action plan on how to achieve your goals step-by-step. You will feel that your life become more purposeful. You will always wake up in the morning with positive aspiration and positive energy to go to work on your plan.
That's how you make your dreams to become reality.
