Many consider dogs as their best friends and for many they are as precious as their child. But due to this excessive love, many get blinded and are not able to see that their loving vulnerable creature is turning into a dominant dog that wants to take your place and rule the house. Often it happens due to the excessive love and care they get, but actually that care is turning your best friend into a rigid and aggressive animal that actually start seeing their owners as their servants and want all their work to be done by them.

To control your dog from becoming dominant, appropriate training is essential. Dog training will help you to understand the signs through which you can distinguish between dominant dog and loving dog. After all, it is not an overnight process. There are many signs and changes in dominant dog behavior that go unnoticed, which ultimately results in abhorrence towards your loving pet because of your ignorance and excessive care. In fact, excessive human care can make the dog even more dominant. You need to learn to say “no” to your dog.

Though dominant dog training is difficult, it is not impossible to train them. To bring back your command in the house, it is important to understand that you are superior to dog and you need to have proper skills to manage your dog’s behavior. Understand the difference between a dominant dog and alpha dog. Alpha dogs are threats to enemies and are under the command of their owner, whereas dominant dogs can even harm their owners and doesn’t like to be bossed around.

Dominant dog training is essential if you want to get your commanding position back. Train your dog from basics and teach him manners about how to behave in society. Start from the basic commands, such as to sit down, shake hand, come here etc., as that will be convenient for both you as well as the dog. If you start seeing the signs of dominance, behave harshly, not physically though, make him wait for food, let him run around for milk or ask him to bring newspaper from the door step, make him sleep a night out and many such activities in order to make him understand that he needs to behave properly so as to live with you.

One of the major reasons of dominant dog behaviors is because the owner is unable to command strictly. Though we do things out of love and humanity, dogs actually try to control and rule their owners, which give birth to a dominant dog. Dog training aid to resolve this commanding issue and helps you regain the ruling stick back in your hand. For extra dominant dogs, you can use dominant dog collar to control their activities. Dominant dog training will actually benefit both, as you will get your loving dog or best friend back, and dog will also get your support back.
